Jacqueline Chu

Jchu picJackie Chu is a consultant specializing in data analysis and financial strategy in the education sector.  She most recently was a project specialist with the NJ Department of Education, working on a project for the Commissioner to integrate and analyze all data collected by the state and selected districts, bringing together financial, staffing, student demographic, and achievement data in order to identify best practices for resource allocation that can enhance student performance.  Prior to that she worked as Finance Director in the Newark Public Schools and Director of Administration and Finance at the I Have a Dream Foundation.

Jackie spent the first ten years of her career at IBM in a variety of finance and strategy roles, supporting the mainframe hardware and OS software teams, the DB2 and DB2 Tools development teams, and the collaboration and messaging software unit.  Jackie serves on the board of College and Community Fellowship, a non-profit that helps formerly incarcerated women pursue higher education.  She also co-founded Culturehub, a non-profit that supports innovative artists around the world uasing technology to broaden cross-cultural collaboration.  Jackie holds a BA from Rice University, an MA in Economics from American University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
