Support for Fellows

[Quote: “When you are released from prison you have a sense of loss and you think you have to fix everything right away. CCF helps you to take one step at a time and to create a new purpose in life.” – Gay-Le Pratt, Fellow]

CCF partners with various support services across New York to help student address the many life challenges they’ll face when returning to their family and community after incarceration.

A social worker on staff intervenes when participants require services that CCF does not currently offer in house. In those instances, our academic counselors refer students to the social worker, who assesses students and provides appropriate referrals and related follow up. CCF has established strong strategic partnerships with a broad array of reentry organizations and women’s organizations that provide services.
